Stitching Collectives are a professional space intended to leverage the collective knowledge of our community members and support embroiderers in the Tatreez & Tea community. The Stitching Collectives should be considered open studio hours, where embroiderers and students are participating with the intention to further their embroidery work and studies. There is no specific instruction provided and the sessions are not recorded.

In-Person Stitching Circles, The People’s Forum

In-person stitching circles are held at The People’s Forum at 320 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018. All are welcome to join. Registration proceeds are always donated to The People’s Forum.

Stitching circles are not classes. You are welcome to bring a kit, such as the Tatreez 101 Kit, and consult with attendees for assistance. Please join the stitching circle with your supplies (and glasses!).

All journalists and media must contact Wafa at wafa@tatreezandtea.com for written permission to join. No one will be allowed to film or record this session without prior permission from the organizers, and the consent of all those in attendance. If any attendant films or interviews attendants, they will be asked to leave. We appreciate your consideration in ensuring a safe space for all.

All registrants are equally held to the Community Guidelines. Please note that donations are nonrefundable.
